  • BSc Degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, and

  • industrial), Agriculture and Horticulture. Diploma in

  • mechanics with relevant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

We look for a highly qualified and experienced Technical Manager who will plan and direct all technical activities within the technical department. The Technical Manager will have the following duties and responsibilities  through own input and by coordinating his supporting staff:



  • Daily management of the technical department. To manage  all tasks within a specified timeframe  and budget.

  • To train, motivate, coach and maintain an efficient and competent technical team.

  • Work closely together with other departments.

  • To keep all equipment always in production (construction, electrics, refrigeration equipment, fertilizer units, climate computer and equipment, water treatment installations, generators, protection equipment, vehicles...).

  • Develop and implement maintenance programs for all equipment on the farm; ensure proper stock levels of critical spare parts; set priorities and develop instructions and procedures.

  • Responsible for startup and follow up of expansion projects.

  • Establish control systems and develop new procedures to improve existingsy stems.

  • Report to General Manager
